RADON TESTING AND ANALYTICAL PROCEDURES.

LS (liquid scintillation) test canisters are put in place using the EPA protocol for “Simultaneous Testing” for real estate transactions. Test canisters will remain in place for a minimum time period of 48 hours.

Radon samples are collected and handled following the proper chain-of-custody as established by PRO-LAB/SSPTM, INC.

PRO-LAB/SSPTM, INC. measures Radon - 222 levels using the liquid scintillation method (EPA 402-R-92-004).

THE EPA RECOMMENDS THAT YOU FIX YOUR HOME IF THE RADON LEVEL IS 4 PICOCURIES (PCI/L) OR HIGHER.

Lab results are usually available on the 3^rd (third) business day after date of sample collection.
